Join us for a fun-filled day of activities, sunshine, and connection at our annual Sandy Point Day! Start the day with free golf lessons from Pro Golfer Connie Gregor from 10:00–11:30 AM, open to all skill levels.
The pool will be open throughout the day with adult swim from 10:00–11:00 AM and again from 6:00–7:00 PM, and family swim from 11:00 AM–6:00 PM. Families are also invited to enjoy face painting for kids during the day, adding to a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere for all ages.
Be sure to stop by and check out our pickleball courts, one of Sandy Point’s newest amenities. Whether you’re curious about the game, watching others play, or picking up a paddle for the first time, it’s a great opportunity to see what makes pickleball such a fast-growing and enjoyable sport.
At 11:30 AM, join neighbors and friends at the Clubhouse for a community BBQ, a chance to take a break, enjoy some food, and connect with others in the community.

Join Us for a Sandy Point Pickleball Clinic on June 13th!
The Bellingham Pickleball Club is excited to host a fun, welcoming introductory clinic for the Sandy Point Community on Saturday, June 13th from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM.
To accommodate different backgrounds, the clinic is split into two specialized sessions:
- 9:00 AM – 10:00 AM | True Beginners: Designed for those with little to no prior pickleball or racket sport experience.
- 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM | Racket Sport Players: For people who have played other racket sports (like tennis, badminton, or ping pong) and just need to learn pickleball rules and basics.
What We’ll Cover:
During your one-hour session, we will cover court layout, basic rules, scoring, and essential strokes. You will also receive a helpful reference handout to take home so you can confidently jump into future games!
What to Bring:
- A paddle (if you have one; we also have loaners available)
- Court shoes
- Eye protection (sunglasses or goggles)
- Water and sunscreen

Space is strictly limited to 10 players per session. Please email Debbie at the office at (360) 384-3921 right away to reserve your spot. (Note: If you cannot make it this time, a second clinic will be offered in August!)
2026 Audit Waiver
Audit Waiver Meeting
On Saturday May 16, we held our Audit Waiver Meeting, and the vote to waive the audit was successfully approved. This decision is expected to save the community between $35,000 and $40,000 in expenses this year, which is approximately $40 per member household. Thank you to everyone who participated in the vote and helped make this process a success.
Pickleball Update
Pickleball update:
The demand for pickleball is greater than we ever expected. Here are some things that I am currently working with the Sandy Point Improvement Company Office to implement.
1) Key fob access for hours outside of when the pool is open.
2) Online booking system, with a mobile app. Schedule your court times at PicklePlanner, see availability and more.
3) Court rules and regulations to make it fair and reasonable for everyone and to help avoid confusion.
We have received loads of feedback on this and are working on it. More to come over the next week or two. Please hang in there as we work through the process.
